The EQP-210 can work with an ample range of pressing tools, to make pellets for XRF of different diameters, or to prepare KBr pellets for sample analysis by FTIR.
The EQP-210 press is compatible with all the EQUILAB pressing tools. The wide pressing area allows the use of pressing tools from 40 mm to 8 mm diameter. This produces pellets guaranteeing a high degree of cohesion and stability with or without binding agents.
The EQP-210 press enjoys a robust and durable design, offers up to five working programs of simple or double cycle with a variable pressure of up to a maximum of 40 t, editable from a convenient 7-inch full-color touchscreen. The possibility of undertaking a double pressing cycle in the same process allows purging of occluded gases, these being, mainly, the cause of irregularities or cracks in the pellets.
The EQP-210 press has got a pressing tool exchange system exclusivity of the EQUILAB presses. This system was implemented so that all the special tools that EQUILAB has designed for the cutting, crushing and punching of samples and steelworks test tubes could be used on demand.
