Equilab’s hydraulic presses have been specifically designed for the preparation of pellets from powdered samples for analysis using X-ray, infrared, and other techniques. To obtain pellets, the powdered sample is compressed, either alone or with a binding agent, until a perfectly homogeneous tablet is formed, with a flat surface, mechanically robust, and free of cracks or dust.

Equilab Presses offer great variety and versatility, ranging from the manual EQP-1 and EQP-30 models to the semi-automatic EQP-110, EQP-210, and MultiEQP models. Capacity ranges from 15 and 30 t in manual presses to 40/50 t in semi-automatic ones. They are designed to produce pellets from 13 to 40 mm in diameter, making them the best option for fast and efficient preparation of pressed pellets.
