The AL-204 Aluminum Metal Analyzer is a compact, fully automatic device designed to assess the concentration of metallic aluminum in samples using gasometry. It performs fast tests with high precision and excellent reproducibility.
The AL-204 is a compact, fully automatic instrument designed to assess the concentration of metallic aluminum in a sample using gasometry. The analysis is carried out by continuously monitoring the pressure increase generated by the hydrogen released during the oxidation reaction of metallic aluminum:
2 Al (solid) + 2 NaOH + 6 H2O 🡪 2 Al(OH)4– + 2 Na+ + 3 H2 (gas)
The AL-204 Aluminum Analyzer is easy to operate. The sample is placed directly into a glass crucible, where the oxidation reaction occurs. Once the sample is loaded, the analyzer seals the system, dispenses the reagent, and continuously monitors the metallic aluminum concentration until the final result is obtained.
A user-friendly interface allows for sample data input, execution of the analysis, real-time graphical representation of the process, and automatic storage of results in a database, simplifying diagnostic and analytical tasks.
The AL-204 features two independent measurement channels, enabling either double the sampling speed or simultaneous analysis of different sample types.
