On September 17 and 18, 2025, the MATIL Training Hall at Istanbul Technical University hosted a course regarding “Techniques for Proper Sample Preparation for ICP and XRF Analysis.”
The training was led by Dr. Maximino Bedoya Gutiérrez, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, in collaboration with Engineer Feda Rahal from Anka Analitik Mekatronik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.

The program was divided into two sessions. The theoretical part covered key concepts such as fusion principles, the use of borate fluxes, and best practices for preparing samples tailored to ICP and XRF analysis.
During the hands-on session, participants prepared various samples, putting the theoretical knowledge into practice.

The course concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where attendees had the opportunity to share questions, discuss challenges, and deepen their understanding of the topics addressed.
